A quick look

The essentials, before the legal detail:

The rest of this policy explains each point in detail.

1. Who we are and scope

This Policy explains how Adec Nova LLC ("we", "us") collects and processes personal data when operating GlowApp (site, booking app, admin panel, and the Luna assistant).

Two distinct roles:

2. Information we collect

From business owners (customers): name, email, phone, password (encrypted), business name and details, address, social media, and billing data (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers).

From businesses' end-clients (as processor): name, phone, email (optional), appointment and service history, notes, and message consent.

Automatically: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, cookies and similar identifiers, and usage logs (for security and analytics).

CCPA/CPRA categories we process: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP); commercial information (appointments, services, recorded payments); network/internet activity; approximate geolocation (city); and content you upload (photos, chat messages). We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories such as Social Security number, biometric data, health, or precise geolocation.

3. Sources of the data

Directly from you; from your end-clients when booking; automatically through use; and from providers (e.g., the payment processor).

4. What we use the data for

To: create and manage accounts; operate bookings, reminders, and the Luna assistant; process subscription payments; provide support; send service notices and (with your consent where applicable) marketing communications; prevent fraud and protect security; comply with the law; and improve the product (in aggregated or pseudonymized form).

5. Who we share with — subprocessors

We do not sell personal data (see §8). We share it with providers that help us operate, under confidentiality obligations and only for those purposes:

Provider Purpose
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hosting / servers
PostgreSQL (hosted on AWS) Database
Anthropic AI model for the Luna assistant
Twilio SMS / WhatsApp
Stripe Subscription payment processing
Hostinger (SMTP) Transactional emails

We may also disclose data upon legal request, to protect rights/security, or in a merger/acquisition (with notice).

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies strictly for the operation and security of the service (for example, keeping your session). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or pixels. You can manage cookies from your browser.

7. Automated assistant (Luna)

GlowApp uses an AI conversational assistant ("Luna", with Anthropic models) to answer questions and help with booking. It is automated processing: its responses are generated automatically and may contain errors. Where the law requires it, it is disclosed that you are speaking with an automated assistant. Luna does not make legal or significant decisions about you without human review, and we do not use your conversations to train third-party models.

8. "We do not sell or share" (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal data for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use third-party advertising pixels. We only share data with the subprocessors in §5, to operate the service for you.

9. Retention — how long we keep each thing

We keep data for as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law:

After account termination, we delete or anonymize the Customer Data within 90 days, unless legally required to retain it.

10. Your privacy rights (California / CPRA and similar states)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to: know/access what data we hold; delete; correct; opt out of sale/sharing and of targeted advertising; limit the use of sensitive data (we apply no sensitive uses); and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado, Connecticut, etc., have analogous rights, including the right to appeal if we deny a request.

How to exercise them: write to soporte@adecnova.app. We will verify your identity and respond within the legal timeframes (generally 45 days, extendable). You may use an authorized agent. This service is free except for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.

End-clients of a business: if you booked with a business that uses GlowApp, direct your request to that business (it is the controller of your data); we will assist it as its service provider.

11. Minors

GlowApp is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data (COPPA). Businesses must not upload minors' data without the parental consent the law requires.

12. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access control, per-business isolation, password hashing). No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a breach, we will notify in accordance with applicable state laws.

13. Data location

We operate in the United States and data is processed there. If you access from outside the U.S., you understand that your data will be processed in the U.S.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update it; we will publish the current version with its date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the panel.
